Hi all! Today I would like to share how I passed Spanish for Healthcare Professionals I or el español médico. I absolutely adored this course and felt so blessed to be able to snag a spot. I hope to be able to share a little bit about my history with the Spanish language in another blog post.
Note: This post is in no way sponsored. The links provided are just resources I found that may be helpful for you. I am not receiving any benefits, nor am I working with any companies.
What did you bring to lecture with you?
- My 1 1/2″ binder for the course
- My textbook

How did you prepare for lecture?
I prepared for lecture by reading whatever pages were assigned to us and practicing phrases/vocab from past lecture(s).
How did you take notes during lecture?
I simply wrote down whatever my professor wrote on the board. His lecturing was very energetic and a bit all over the place. This made reading the textbook very important. I also made sure to write down new vocabulary/phrases.
How did you prepare for exams?
I prepared for exams like I did for my other exams. I divided the content for the upcoming test and studied accordingly per each day. With a foreign language repetition is key so I utilized Quizlet a lot, which also reads words out to you in Spanish if you like. I also practiced my writing by writing down our new phrases, organs, etc.
That’s all I have!
