I Quit My Job

Hello all! This post will serve as another life update. I know I have been gone for a while, but a lot has been going on.  If you are curious about nursing school, work and such, keep reading!

  • I quit my job.

Yes, its true… I have officially left my part-time job working with kiddos. This was hard for me because I loved that job and what I did, but was offered PRN position with my local health system. I’ll admit I did get a little teary eyed when meeting with my boss to let her know it was my time to go. I have several reasons why I decided to leave and I can always share those later… I will miss the interaction with kiddos, which is what I loved about the job the most. Nevertheless, I will be working as a PRN Monitor Tech!

  • What does this mean for volunteering?

At the moment I am a Child Life Volunteer in the hospital. Now that I am only required to work two days a month, I still plan on volunteering twice a month. This will allow me to still have interaction with kiddos…

  • Turned 20

I turned twenty during August. Doesn’t matter, I still look twelve…😂

  • I’m a senior!

You guys. I cannot believe it; I am finishing up my last year in nursing school. I am petrified, to say the least. I feel like I was just 17 starting my pre-reqs…and now I am about to be a whole nurse [insert screams here]. You can check out my fall semester schedule here.

Those are some quick updates for you all. I plan on sharing more reflections from externship, nursing school rants, and lifestyle posts with you all.

Thanks for reading!
